Safe Sex or Abstinence?

teen sex

Guys, we’ll have a debate about adding sex education in Elementary curriculum here in our country.

Of course, I would stand in the group of those who are in favor to teach kids about sex and all that. Looking at the reality, youngsters are more experimental than the previous generation. We are more liberated to do what we want and lets face it, they’re engaged in doing pre-marital sex.

If we don’t equip them with the proper knowledge, at least they would have an idea what’s in it for them and the consequences of doing sex-at a very young age. It’s not we’re going to push them and say ‘hey, sex is pretty good so keep on fcuking all the time!”. Besides, we shouldn’t condemn or plant in the young minds that sex is a taboo thing. Right?

My point here is we should try to lead the youngsters (at a very young age) the basics of reproductive health. I know it’s a bit complicated but I think it would be better giving them the right information rather than picking the wrong idea from their friends, media, etc.

Aside from the guidance of the parents (it’s their responsibility, though) at least if children are guided properly from school, it’s our way to encourage them either to do safe sex or just simply abstinence from any activities that would lead to home base. :)

It’s not sex or whatever is the objective of the debate we had yesterday on our team meeting. Well, I’m aware that communication’s part of a providing a good customer service. Our Team Lead is observing our way of speaking, sentence construction, pronunciation and enunciation of words, so he could provide an impromptu feedback to all of us.

I wanted to do some comment or whatever but I guess, it would be out of my boundaries if I act as if I have the authority. Hehe.

Well, I know I’ve been constantly giving all the credits to my Planet Trainor-Maria and Elaine, NSI QA’s and trainers for polishing my communication skills. It wasn’t easy but I’m enjoying the benefits I’m getting after all the courses I’ve been through.

There were times that my caller would say that I don’t sound like I’m from Manila, I have a clear and good voice unlike the other agents they’ve spoken with, some say I sound like one of the Radio DJ in New Jersey.

I even remember Felson (who interviewed me initially and on my final one) when he complemented that he loves my accent when I speak during our conversation-that’s why I made it and signed on my job offer.

But-that doesn’t stop there. I’m aware that I do still have room for improvement. I’m trying my best and do all the extra mile as possible.

Actually, I didn’t see myself this way before.. maybe I am growing up and become more mature unconsciously. I do want to achieve my goals and start to save up-I don’t know why but I’m doing it anyways.. hehe.

Well, I just hope that whatever hard work I’m doing right now will provide my the fruits that I can reap not only for myself but for my family as well.
