The movie is a 1990 comedy-drama fantasy film and received numerous nominations at the Academy Awards, British Academy Film Awards, Saturn Awards, as well as winning the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation. I was a kindergarden when I first saw the movie, I didn’t appreciate the movie back then but..
now, I’m actually bursting into tears all alone. It was only 9:00 PM when I was watching Little Mermaid with my sister then I saw American Idol and I got stuck in gLee. I never expected that I decided to stay up and watch Edward Scissorhands and be like this. It’s already 1:00 AM and writing this post and I need to be up by 4:00 AM for my final assessment.
Why does the word ‘ironic’ exist? I felt really sad when Kim realized that she’s in-love with Edward only at the end of the movie. They can’t be together due to odd circumstances that was too complicated to deal with.
At least, Kim’s feelings towards Edward remained strong even if she had her own family.
Is that how powerful true love is? I mean, does it have to take a lifetime to truly forget the one who really captured your heart? How about in another life? Can it really bridge the gap and make two different worlds together?
Is the plot of the story was way too good or I’m just bitter of what had happened to me in the past? Or am I just crazy?
